ORSANCO programs include water quality monitoring and assessment, spill response and detection, setting Ohio River discharge pollution control stands, applied research and public information and education.  Additionally, ORSANCO coordinates activities and facilitates an exchange of information and technology among federal agencies and the water pollution control and natural resources agencies in the member states.
